Pumpkins Continue to Grow

The pumpkin plants continue to get big but not many pumpkins yet. Cinderella Carriage and now Jack O' Lantern are the only plants that have pumpkins. There have been quite a few bees buzzing around so there should be more pumpkings coming soon.

The Duck Eggs Have Hatched!

On Sunday, the mother duck was not sitting on her eggs and eight of the ten have hatched. Grandma and Grandpa have not seen the ducklings along with the mama duck yet.

Bird Friend

When Grandma was leaving the garden this week and walking up to the gate, a baby robin was resting on the gate. The baby robin did not move as Grandma got closer and as she put her hand on the gate. Grandma was able to open the gate and close it slowly and the baby bird stayed put.

Garden Event

Grandma and Grandpa have been weeding, watering and trimming the plants in the garden to prepare for a garden tour on Tuesday. The public has been invited to look at the vegetable garden and flower beds and planters. Here are some of the things they will be able to see on this tour. Can you find Poppy in one of the photos?
